First quarter of the 13th century. Fourth Crusade period which took place primarily in Byzantium, fought largely by French Crusaders. 8" length, with clipped point wedge section blade. Broad exposed tang with four holes for scale grips. Bronze grip end (one lacking). Excellent excavated condition, on Plexiglas display easel with certificate of authenticity. The blade with particularly good profile.
