First-quarter of the 13th century. Fourth Crusade period which took place primarily in Byzantium fought largely by French Crusaders. 7 3/8" length. Wedge section blade unmarked. Exposed edge tang full length. Original brass pommel and bolster. Original wood or horn scale grips secured by three rivets. About ¼ of the right scale only lacking. These knives were used for eating as well as personal protection.
