Head only, brought back to England as part of the Baptist Missionary Society Collection which was circulated among churches to raise funds for the Missions. It was customary to collect the spearheads only owing to the difficulty of transporting whole spears back to England. 19 1/4” length with butted seam conical socket. Thick leaf-shaped point with medial ridge, tool finished. Uniform chocolate patina.
