Bronze, wearable size 10 1/2. Broad flat face, 6.8mm width, decorated with a stipple band along each edge enclosing a partial(?) inscription and perhaps a date. As found condition with surface encrustation obscuring the details. Purchased from Schindler’s Antiques, King Street, Charleston, SC in the 1980s. Preserved with a modern clear coat for modern wear. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
