Vintage, styled in the Adirondack or Rocky Mountain taste. Rustic but not crude. Very skillfully made and originally housing a pair of flintlock pistols. 23” x11” with low rounded (coffered) top and two tacked leather bands which serve as closures. The wood skillfully textured and toned. The inside lined with red velvet and bearing the impressions of the pistols. Fine accessory for rural or cabin decore.
