332-30 BC. Yellow and blue spotted faience. Just over ½” total height. Standing Bes with his hands at the hips and feathered headdress. Bes was the God of music and merriment. As well, he was the protector in childbirth, which was especially important in ancient Egypt as Egyptian women were genetically predisposed to difficulty giving birth. Fine with good glazed surface.
