New Kingdom, C.1200 - 1075 BC. Red terra cotta of bun form. Used for making glazed fiancé amulets, primarily for the burial/mummification industry. Just over 1" in height. Amun, originally the God of Air, one of the eight primordial gods, rose in prominence in the New Kingdom and evolved into Amun-Ra.
