From Tel el Amarna 1348-1332 BC. Red terracotta depicting Isis standing. Used for making glazed fiancé amulets, primarily for the burial/mummification industry. Just over 1 1/8" height, to produce an amulet of the Isis, a major goddess in ancient Egyptian religion whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world.
