AFRICAN PYGMY POISON ARROW

24 1/2” length with the small leaf-shaped point above double opposing barbs. Cane shaft with plant fiber wrapped nock. The upper half with an opened crack and check. Made without feathers. These small arrows were used with poisoned tips. See The Gods Must Be Crazy for a kill made that way. Pygmy people populate several areas in Africa. This arrow is from the East Kalahari Desert in Botswana.
