Probably French. Delicately detailed iron hilt with all elements pierced in an intricate lattice. The intersections are raised and detailed and the flanking bands with floral (?) engraving as well. The whole retains considerable original fire gilt in protected areas. Silver wire and tape-wrapped grip. 31 5/8” concave aced triangular blade.
