English Civil Wars period. Just over 96” length with tapered medially ridged point with scalloped base lugs. Struck each side with a crisp maker’s mark of a cuirass with tassets. Baluster bolster and ribbed socket with integral cheek straps. Oak haft tapered from the middle. Conical iron base shoe with short side straps. Untouched condition throughout including a short original repair to one cheek strap. Purchased in England by us in 1979 and recently reacquired.
