EUROPEAN WOMAN’S CROSS PENDANT C.1100-1400

Gothic, northern European (Flanders, Netherlands, Germanic states). Gilt bronze, of thick domed form with domed center and shore trefoil form beams of equal length. The form descended from the Jerusalem cross of the Crusades with “crutches” on the beam ends forming five crosses in one. Professionally refurbished with the gold restored on an 18” gilt silver necklace for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
