25 1/4" blade finely decorated near full length with Crusades scenes and motifs, armored knights, weapons, and owner's name, with gilt ground. Forte marked ARMSTRONG REGALIA COMPANY DETROIT MICH dating it before 1899 when the company was sold. The ricasso opposite marked GERMANY, an imported blade decorated and mounted by Armstrong. Hilt with chained cross to the cross guard and fine enamel inlay. Bone grip with enameled cross. Scabbard with owner’s name repeated and deep relief enameled cross matching the hilt.
