Zulu Wars period example of good large proportions. 29 1/2" with large spherical head and integral thick tapered flared butt haft. Dark mottled surface with a few age checks and the surface with light char, varnished over. Surely a War souvenir of an English soldier, possibly even from Rorke's Drift as the missionary station was partially burned in the battle.
