VIKING ROPED OR TWIST WEDDING RING, SIZE 10 ¼

Cambridgeshire, England, 866-1067 AD Oval form, size 10 ¼. 2.3mm at the bottom swelling to 4.7mm at the top. The top half is a deeply modeled roped motif in the full round, including the inside of the ring. The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking form. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Vikings exchanged wedding rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
