VERY FINE 18th CENTURY OTTOMAN POWDER MEASURE OR CHARGER

Iron, 4 5/8 length plus the swivel toggle grip. Octagonal, 3/4 internal diameter with graduated stem sliding plunger to measure and adjust the charge. Banded both ends with finely faceted domes base. The spout pierced with scrolls. Alternate facets engraved with stylized scrolling foliage. Pierced hinged terminal with its original braided leather suspension. Fine condition with very minor discoloration only. The engraving preserved with the minute cuts with bright reflective sides as new. The best for quality and/or condition that we have seen.
