Red clay, 4 3/8” (4.41”) length with raised spout and thumb rest. The depressed well with a figure of Hercules with the lion pelt on his extended arm. The pelt is that of the Nemean lion, defeated by Hercules in the first of his 12 labors. Two filler holes staggered to accommodate the figure. Minor calcification around the middle.
