Flat bottom bulbous body with slightly tapered neck and thickened edge flared lip. 4 height. Grape purple color with mottled iridescence beneath a light powdery surface encrustation which flakes off with the finger nail. The surface encrustation or adhesion appears to be kaolin also called pipe clay which is found in northern Europe, suggesting a provincial find. Larger than most and undamaged.
