REVOLUTIONARY WAR RIFLEMAN’S HORN

Likely made in Pennsylvania and exuding its great age and colonial character. 14” length along the curve. Lathe turned wood base secured with wood pegs, with ring and eye suspension. The spout is carved in three sets of rings. Original plain wood stopper. Shows “barn” type storage with water damage, loss and crack to the horn and wood base. The balance is sound and dry with fine age patina. Untouched for over 200 years and exceptional for its character.
