PERSIAN BULL HEAD MACE.

Iron, 27 1/4" length with ball terminal tubular haft. Rounded collar below fully modeled bull’s head with conical ears, and curved horns. Decorated throughout with spiral bands of foliage to the haft and foliate collar. The head with eyes and nose, foliage to the back and kneeling nobles to the sides. Crisp with gray/brown patina.
