OTTOMAN TURKISH BLUNDERBUSS, LATE 18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY

11 5/8" round barrel with flared muzzle. The breech struck with a maker’s mark. Silver decoration in two stages of stylized foliage. Walnut full stock. The rear portion carved in scrolls and checkered panels. The butt with copper piques in circular patterns. Good beveled edge plate lock engraved with star and crescent to the plate and stock. Brass trigger guard cracked at both screws. Brass side plate, cracked, with saddle ring mount. Well worn throughout. Great age character.
