MUGHAL WAR ARROW

iIndopersian, 17th century. 28 3/4" length. Cane shaft with inset wood nock which is typical. The nock and fletch area are finely painted and decorated. Fletching detached and lacking as always found. Fine hexagonal section iron armor piercing point with laminated brass and iron bolster. Used in the wars of expansion under Shah Jahan, his forebears, and successors.
