MOGUL HORSEMAN'S SABER

Large example with 31 3/4" broad curved blade with raised false edge and broad fuller. Right forte with incised decoration. The left with descending size scalloped motif 2/3 its length. Iron hilt with broad dished pommel and broad cross guard. Stylized tassel tipped broad knuckle bow. Pommel top pitted overall from condensation, should be cleaned. The hilt, otherwise, with medium gray patina and light pitting. Blade mottled with smooth to medium pitting and one section of the edge, about 2" long, indented about 1/16" from polishing out a nick in its working life. A large sword with hilt of exceptional proportions.
