The High Gothic Period following the Crusades. Gilt bronze, just under 1 1/4” (1.19”) height with the suspension ring. The cross beam centered with trefoil beam terminals forming “crutches” from the Jerusalem cross which made it five crosses in one, commemoration the five wounds of Christ. Incised border to the front and the back flat. Figured circles in the middle and at beam ends representing the five wounds of Christ. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver 18” neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
