GERMAN FAULD PLATE C.1570

The lower waist plate from a full armor. Forged in one piece, 21 ¾” along the curve with rolled and roped crotch edge and pierced for a cod piece. Line bordered upper edge with five rivets and remains of rosettes. Rolled edges with sunk borders. The bottom edge irregular as made, would be concealed by the tassets.
