Pressed into service in the American Revolution (see Neumann 103.S) as well as other conflicts as needed. 21” slightly curved broad and narrow fullered blade, with light to medium pitting, decorated with foliage, boar, and stag, partially obscured. Spirally reeded wood grip with the brass pommel. Fluted brass guard. A classic for Colonial American/Revolutionary War collection.
