VIKING TANGED ARROWHEAD C.800-1050 AD

Norwegian form was recently found due to melting snow caps and glaciers. 5 1/8” (5.11”) in length with a leaf-shaped point slightly ridged on one side and flat on the other. Spread base and tapered tang. Vikings spread and settled in vast areas of Europe over their 250-year span with tools and weapons evolving in local forms. This form is specifically identified as Norwegian.
