Gilt bronze, just under 1” (0.99”) in diameter. Round formed as a spiral. The spiral or helix was a favorite decorative motif and held supernatural significance. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. These were worn on the beard as well as in the hair, particularly above the ears. Rare variation. Corresponds to ring size 9 ½ and could be worn as a ring.
