Good quality with 3.1mm rounded band flaring to the incised shoulders.  Lozenge form bezel which is textured and inscribed with parallel lines, remnants of a signet, which identified the owner and could be used to seal legal matters. (In Ben Hur, the title character identifies himself by stamping Messala’s tablet with his ring which bears the signet of Quintus Arrius.)
