Just over 3” width, finely forged and detailed with large checkered face button terminals and finely reeded frame and heel plate. Exceptional preservation with localized corrosion to one button face and a few spots on the heel plate. The balance with near all original surface and crisp detail. In high antiquity, spurs were not used in pairs, but rather as a single accessory attached to only one of the feet, usually on the left.
