Fine flamboyant hilt with lion head pommel, foliage, and portrait in especially high relief. Wire wrapped ray skin covered grip. 34 ½” curved broad fullered blade decorated the first half with foliage and military motifs. The ricasso with indecipherable Solingen maker’s name. Smooth wear with spotty smooth black staining. Very superior quality for these.
