Early Dynastic Period, C.3000 BC. 4 3/4” length. Trough form with thick base and faceted sides. Slightly tapered with a raised spout to one end. Wear with some scrapes to the bottom. Shallow chip/flake to the end and the tip of the spout chipped. Evidently used for mixing and pouring, probably cosmetics. Purchased Phillips London, 1990.
