Pre Crusades. Gilt bronze, size 7 3/4. Rounded face 2.7mm band with flared shoulders and oval bezel with five marks representing the five wounds of Christ, arranged in radial form describing a saltire (St. Andrew’s cross) as well. These rings were worn by Pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land and faithful throughout Christianized Europe. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
