Silvered bronze, over ¾” diameter with broad raised edge. Central figure of a sainted knight, mounted with lance and with halo and angel wings. The representation is directly related to the stone figures on cathedrals of the period and typically “flat” Gothic representations devoid of perspective. Charming and very rare. Probably English. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored and suspended one a Sterling silver neck chain. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
