ANCIENT VIKING WEDDING RING, SIZE 7 1/4

Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Rare wearable size 7 1/4. Broad flat face, 5.0mm width, decorated in a centered stipple band with a second very light stipple band along side. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Copper rich bronze, as found in quite crisp condition with good patina. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
