Formed as a poppy seed which is thought to represent resurrection and thus were worn by the living as well as placed on mummies. 15.9mm (0.62”) height, laboriously fashioned and polished from carnelian stone and pierced for suspension. Suspended from a Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
