About 5/8"(0.59”) height plus the suspension loop, with nubs at the quarter point defining a saltire. The field with scrolling foliage, now worn from use. Made by the open face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Surface textured from burial.  Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored on an 18” gilt silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
