Large, slightly over  Broad heard with inset nubbed border and central trefoil. 1” width. Surface with frosty texture from use and burial. Made by the open face mold process. The foliate trefoil was a very popular motif for Viking hearts. For Vikings, the heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, and attributes of the warrior.
