9th-11th century AD. Large example, over 45 1/8" (5.14”) length of leaf form. A combat arrow medially ridged both sides, capable of penetrating leather and padded fabric protection of the period. Expanded foot with tapered tang. Raids were conducted regularly along with coastal towns on the Mediterranean. Excellent excavated condition.
