Gilt bronze, C form, just under 2 1/2” inside dimension (2.47”). Made by the lost wax casting process with a central core or membrane which distributed the molten metal and heat. The core was then laboriously removed with slight remnants evident. The face is decorated with patterns of concentric circles and punches. Textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Sound wearable condition and Gift boxed with a certification of authenticity.
