FINE VIKING BRACELET, C.850-1050 AD

Gilt bronze, 0.53” (13.6mm) width. C form, 2.55” inside dimension. Raised edges with decoration in three ranks. The center with narrow raised band flanked by pelleted borders. The outer bands with matching pelleted borders within the raised edges and over repeated crescent (moon) motifs. The ends with triple dot in circle motifs. The is decoration all hand chiseled and crisp. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Hand crafted and worn by a Viking 1000 years ago! About as fine an example as can be found.
