Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Rare large wearable size 9 ¼-1/2. Broad flat face, 5.5mm width, hand-decorated with a medial stipple band. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Wearable as found condition. Quite crisp with green/brown patina and minor degradation from burial. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
