Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Rare wearable size 12 1/4. Broad flat face, 4.7mm width hand-decorated in a stipple band deliberately off center, likely with spiritual significance. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
