Late 19th century-1900. The hilt and scabbard entirely sheathed in embossed white metal profusely decorated with foliage and symmetrical tendrils. Excellent with superficial discoloration only. The junction of the scabbard and hilt with light green surface oxidation. 27 3/4" narrow curved blade decorated both sides with foliage and figures, evidently worshipers, alternating with calligraphy. Inlaid copper border partially oxidized to green, otherwise excellent and better, evidently with preservative only recently removed.
