Edo Period, before 1868. 35 3/4" length. Cane shaft with self nock. Brown and white fletching of the form shown on instruction manuals of the period, secured with brown paper. Fine sparrow beak form iron head quite crisp and bright. A little age-darkened throughout. One fletch complete, one near complete and the cardinal fletch fragmentary. Fine heavy armor-piercing proportions.
