Characteristic lenticular form, 1 1/2" length, semi faceted and well made. The surface with heavy white age oxidation. One end with distinct tooth impression. Evidently, the legionary held it in his mouth, perhaps along with a few more, for rapid launching at the initial encounter, at distance, with the enemy. Consistent with the Roman fondness of the taste of lead!
