Bronze scabbard chape (or bottom mount) with pelta-shaped body pierced with a pair of circles and a kidney shape, evidently representing a stylized or abstracted face. Reverse with mounting lugs. Slightly over 1” height. Mounted to the scabbard bottom to protect the leather from wear and fraying.
