Tea spoon, 5 5/8” length of delicate proportions. The end with family monogram Cadillac and the reverse with Catherine ’06. That date, presumably 1806, is a dedication which post dates the spoon’s manufacture of about 1780-90. Found in Grosse Pointe Michigan, and likely descended through the family of Antoine de la Cadillac, founder of Detroit in 1701. Worth research.
