9“ forged tool finished blade. Shaped wood hilt with white metal or base silver mounts including foliate decorated pommel crest and base mount. Brass scabbard, the face with finely embossed sheet “silver”. Well and honestly used throughout. Wear with minor bruises. Scabbard seam slightly separated for about 2” below the side lug. Great age character and dating to the 19th century (probably mid) before colonial ambitions.
