That notation came into use in 1884. Blade marked with the Harrington Cutlery Co Southbridge Mass. mark. The company was established in Southbridge in 1818 where it remained. Well used with abrasions to the grip butt. Blade dark with scattered pitting but not compromised by sharpening and in its original iconic form.
